Visit statistics (anonymous)
We count visits to learn which pages are useful and to improve the site. These statistics are anonymous: they show numbers and trends, not who you are, and we cannot use them to identify you.
- Google Analytics, added through the Site Kit by Google plugin. It records the pages viewed, the approximate country or city, the type of device and how you reached the site. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. It uses cookies that hold a random ID.
- WP Statistics, a plugin that keeps visit counts on our own server. Your IP address is anonymised and scrambled (hashed) before anything is saved, and your browser details are not stored.
- Ahrefs Web Analytics, a small script that counts page views without cookies and without storing personal data.
Contact forms and WhatsApp
The contact and appointment forms are built with the MetForm plugin. When you send a form, the details you typed in (such as your name, phone number and message) go by email to the clinic at Info@drahmedabdelsalam.com, so that we can reply to you. The website does not keep a copy.
The WhatsApp button, from the Chaty plugin, opens a chat with the clinic in WhatsApp. The button itself collects nothing. The conversation takes place in WhatsApp, under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
When we keep your contact details
We use the details you send us only to answer you and to arrange an appointment. We keep them only once an actual encounter takes place: a clinic visit, a consultation, or a medical encounter such as surgery, a follow-up or a medical opinion.
We do not disclose your information or share it with any other party.
How patient records are protected
To protect his patients’ data, Dr. Ahmed keeps all patient records on an offline computer. It is connected only to the clinic’s internal network and does not face the internet.
Testimonials and success stories
The testimonials on this site were written by the patients themselves. Success stories are published only with the patient’s explicit consent.
Maps and videos from other sites
The contact page shows a Google map, and the videos page shows videos from the doctor’s YouTube channel. A video loads from YouTube only when you press play, in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. Google and YouTube may set their own cookies when you use them, under Google’s privacy policy.
Cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
